Love makes the world go ‘round
Our Commitment to You
Small World is an International Nursery/Preschool. We’ve been serving children from all parts of the world since 1991. We understand the tremendous trust you impart to us when you enroll your child. That’s why we commit ourselves daily, to be “the best we can be” in providing your child with a secure, comfortable and happy home away from home setting.
Therefore, at Small World we pledge ourselves to:
Offer your child daily large doses of love, care and understanding in an atmosphere that emphasizes learning through play
Give your child daily opportunities to explore and learn about the world through sensory experiences
Value the uniqueness of your child
Strive to extend, reinforce and complement your child’s home and family life
Most of all, we endeavor to be partners with you, in the care of your child
My Name is Nahed Davis, Owner and Director of Small World Preschool for 29 years in Maadi, Cairo, Egypt. With a B.A. in English and a Diploma in Early Childhood Development (Ages 3-6 years) - I have also been teaching for 31 years and counting. I have completed numerous courses and workshops in Special Education, working with the Learning Resource Center (LRC), The Egyptian Autistic Society, and Launch, in order to include children with Autism and others on the spectrum in our mainstream education. All of our children, no matter where they are on the spectrum, have been accepted in International, American and British schools and have continued to show tremendous improvements and success.
Every summer, I return to my US based home for 2 months. During that time, I visit preschools to get introduced to new and different approaches in early childhood education.
Our teachers and assistants have worked in this field for a minimum of 10 years and they are required to attend workshops and seminars in order to develop as educators.
Our staff are committed to provide safe, secure and loving care in a stable and stress-free environment, which encourages your child to grow socially, emotionally and intellectually.
